My Love For The Basset!

My passion for the Basset Hound started when we added a Basset Hound named Lou Dog to our four-legged family. His personality brought enjoyment to our lives and I noticed he always amazed those who spent any time around him. His ability to get the couch or chair he wanted even if someone was using them at the time, he is famous for. He would act like he needed to go outside that would get the person to move off the couch to open the door for him. He would walk to the door and watch you open it and then beat you back to the couch, he then had the spot he was wanting for his nap.

My love for the Basset led me to the decision to breed the Basset; I have three females, Annie, Lexi and Maggie. Annie and Lexi are both adult dogs and are breeding quality, you can check and see if either of them have puppies in the whelping box. Maggie, brings champion lines and will be old enough for breeding in 2008. Our stud Alex has champion lines, keeping basset quality with our puppies. My goal is to deliver a strong quality Basset as a companion to a loving family who will enjoy and cherish the friendship they will bring to your life. Any time I have my Bassets with me I meet people who had a Basset touch their lives, they will share a memory of the Basset. And the Basset may have been a neighbors dog or a friends dog. And most can even remember the dogs name years later.
